The Provisional Pacific Entente, simply referred to as the SEAPAC Entente, was an understanding between numerous nations of South East Asia, the Pacific and Oceania. By creating an informal local alliance, the countries involved aimed to contain the expansion of the Japanese Empire.
Formation of the Provisional Pacific Entente
The Pacific Entente was a vital link between the British Colony of Singapore, Malaya (Malaysia), the Dutch East Indies (Indonesia), Philippines, Empire of Daresia and Australia after the signing of the Pacific Entente on January 6, 1942.
